Official Eligibility, Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern The Golf Lounge September Hole-in-One Challenge (the “Challenge”). By participating, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Competition Period

Start: 1 September 2026
End: 30 September 2026

The Challenge is available only during The Golf Lounge’s opening hours:

• Sunday to Wednesday: 9:00 am – 9:00 pm
• Thursday to Saturday: 9:00 am – 10:00 pm

All qualifying attempts must be completed before closing time on 30 September 2026.

2. How to Earn Challenge Attempts

Entrants may earn Challenge Attempts during September 2026 through the following qualifying activities:

• Paid casual hourly bay booking (non-membership booking): 3 Challenge Attempts per paid hour.
• New Players Membership purchased during September 2026: 3 Challenge Attempts.
• New Elite Membership purchased during September 2026: 5 Challenge Attempts.
• New Platinum Membership purchased during September 2026: 10 Challenge Attempts.

Challenge Attempts are offered as a promotional benefit attached to qualifying purchases at their ordinary price. No separate fee is payable solely to purchase or acquire a Challenge Attempt.

Challenge Attempts are personal to the entrant who earns them, have no monetary value, cannot be sold, transferred, gifted, exchanged or carried forward, and expire at the end of the Competition Period.

3. Maximum Attempt Limit

There is a strict maximum of 10 Challenge Attempts per person for the entire Competition Period, regardless of the number or type of qualifying purchases made, or the combination of methods by which attempts are earned.

Any qualifying activity completed after an entrant has reached the 10-attempt maximum does not create any additional Challenge Attempts.

4. Eligibility

The Challenge is open only to amateur golfers.

The following people are not eligible to participate or win:

• Professional golfers, including teaching professionals and PGA of New Zealand members.
• Touring professionals.
• Any person who has held a professional playing card within the 3 years before 1 September 2026.
• Employees, contractors and designated Challenge officials of The Golf Lounge.
• Immediate family members of those employees, contractors and officials.

The Golf Lounge may require reasonable evidence of identity and amateur status before accepting an attempt or awarding a prize.

Participants must comply with all venue rules and lawful directions of staff while at The Golf Lounge, 1 Broadway, Newmarket, Auckland.

5. Challenge Bay, Settings, Supervision and Recording for Promotional Purposes

All Challenge Attempts must be taken in the specifically designated Challenge bay using the designated TrackMan virtual course, hole and settings prescribed by The Golf Lounge for the Challenge.

All attempts will be recorded by video or photography for use in promotional activities pre, during and post the Challenge period.

The applicable simulator settings, including the virtual course, hole, tee distance and other relevant environmental settings, will be fixed by management for the Challenge and must not be altered by an entrant.

Each Challenge Attempt must be directly facilitated and witnessed by a designated staff member. Any shot taken outside active staff supervision is invalid.

No practice shots or mulligans are permitted as part of the Challenge sequence. Each ball struck as a Challenge Attempt counts as one attempt, irrespective of the result.

6. Hole-in-One Verification

A Hole-in-One is achieved only where the ball comes to rest in the cup and the result is recorded and verified by the TrackMan simulation system on the official Challenge hole and settings.

Immediately following a successful Hole-in-One, the attending staff member must verify the result and complete or sign the applicable scorecard, system record or Challenge verification record.

The Golf Lounge may review the TrackMan system log, video footage, staff records or other relevant evidence to confirm a claimed result.

7. Main Prize

The main prize is one new 2026 3-door MINI Cooper in Ocean Wave Green, RRP $55,290.

The prize is non-transferable, non-negotiable and cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash.

The winner is responsible for insurance and all ownership and running costs arising after the vehicle is transferred to the winner, except to the extent expressly stated otherwise in the published prize particulars.

The vehicle will be made available to the winner after completion of the Challenge, winner verification and any applicable dealership, registration or transfer formalities.

Registration, on-road costs, collection and transfer conditions may apply.

8. If More Than One Hole-in-One Is Achieved

If more than one eligible participant records a verified Hole-in-One during the Competition Period, those participants will take part in a playoff after the Competition Period.

The playoff will be a closest-to-the-pin contest on the designated Challenge hole using the official Challenge settings. Each finalist will receive 3 shots. The finalist whose closest valid shot finishes nearest the hole will win the main prize.

If two or more finalists remain tied, the tied finalists will continue on a sudden-death, one-shot closest-to-the-pin basis until a winner is determined.

The Golf Lounge will give finalists reasonable notice of the playoff date and time. A finalist who fails to attend without management approval may forfeit the right to participate in the playoff.

9. Closest-to-the-Pin Consolation Prize

If no eligible participant records a verified Hole-in-One during the Competition Period, a consolation prize of Mini and Golf Lounge Merchandise (RRP approx. $500) will be awarded to the eligible participant whose valid Challenge Attempt finishes closest to the pin.

Before the Challenge opens, The Golf Lounge will publish the nature and retail value of the consolation prize. Those published particulars form part of these Terms & Conditions.

Closest-to-the-pin distance will be determined by the TrackMan system. If two or more entrants record the same closest distance, a sudden-death closest-to-the-pin playoff will be used to determine the winner.

10. Administration, Integrity and Technical Issues

The Golf Lounge may suspend or cancel the Challenge where circumstances outside its reasonable control, including material technical failure, fraud or events affecting the integrity of the Challenge, make continuation impracticable or unfair.

Except where required by law, The Golf Lounge will not materially alter the eligibility requirements, method of entry, main prize or method of determining the winner after the Challenge has commenced.

If a technical failure affects an individual attempt, management may declare that attempt void and permit a replacement attempt where it considers that course to be fair and reasonable.

Subject to applicable law, The Golf Lounge’s reasonable determination of factual matters relating to eligibility, simulator results, Challenge settings and compliance with these Terms & Conditions will be final.

11. Participant Information and Publicity

The Golf Lounge may collect participant contact details and Challenge records for the purpose of administering the Challenge, verifying eligibility and contacting winners.

A winner may be asked to participate in reasonable promotional photography or publicity relating to the Challenge. Any use of personal information will be subject to applicable New Zealand privacy law.

12. Promoter

The promoter is The Golf Lounge, 1 Broadway, Newmarket, Auckland, New Zealand.
